a couple of those i'm guilty of, like "who" and "whom". one that infuriates me is "supposably". you are a fucking moron. same with "a whole 'nother".

And of course.... all of the sudden.

Even though I am an advocate for using the English language properly, fuck you if you use "whom" in regular conversation.

They'd teach these all of the time in the advanced English courses in college. Basically, no one properly speaks English anymore because oral language differs from written language. Over time, sayings get shortened and letters are chopped off. The implementation of computer jargon (i.e. "2" instead of to, and "u" instead of you, etc.) will ultimately butcher the language even moar. The English languge has multiple words and synonyms for everything; a true conglomeration of idiosyncratic attributes from other (older) languages. It is constantly evolving and grammar really has no ground to hold on to any more.

These days people rely on context to understand what others are saying when using poor grammar out of convenience (and laziness.) This unfortunately diminishes the necessity for proper grammar usage in day to day conversation.
