ahhhh that's who i figured. thanks. pretty telling that he's posting that, presumably in response to the fest. yikes. fests don't really ever seem to be a success. personally, i prefer shows with no more than 4 bands. i can't stand those shows that have like 8 bands on it with 1 or 2 solid contenders and a bunch of stuff you don't want to see/don't care about. those extra bands is how they jack the price and jack the consumer.

90 minutes of kult of azazel? wow. i left far before they went on and never returned so I can't speak to that. didn't realize they had dream theater amounts of material to display. 90 minutes of anything is too much in my objective opinion, unless it's a very special occasion.

The singer of shining looked like a dick. Can't say for sure because there were better things to do than engage in conversation with him, such as searching for food.

The policy of no re-entry at Fete is hilarious. I get it- it's a hip hop/reggae club and shit happens often there according to Yelp (consider the neighborhood). But there's no need to enforce the same rules that apply to those shows at something such as a metal show.

I didn't find the sound quality in the venue to be a positive thing. Far too muddy.

Not too many positive points to make on the show. However I felt like I had a much greater time in the arcade than at the show. Absu really nailed it and was the best performance.
