Other than "Until the Light Takes Us" and "American Hardcore", what are some decent music based documentaries worth checking out?

Not Dead Yet about Jason Becker. If you don't tear up, you're a fucking piece of shit.

Until the Light Takes Us is probably the worst excuse for a documentary i've ever seen. Artsy directing and ironically non-black metal soundtracks doesn't mean it's good.

If you're interested in like twelve hours of intensive jazz history, there's a Ken Burns documentary series about jazz. It's on Netflix.

What's it called, Spence? Google is fun but discussion is better... and I share a last name with motherfucker.

"Ken Burns: Jazz" is the name it's listed as on Netflix.

Ten episodes, each episode is more than an hour long. I've only seen the first two episodes so far, but I imagine it goes all the way up to the 90's.

Just a humble little slice of life called "Some Kind of Monster."

The Highlander was a documentary, and the events happened in real time.
