this is awesome, i love how you layered the vocals. the drums sound great too. however this isnt a 'new' song is it? i remember it from mp3.com when NICK CONWAY was in the band. good job though.

its been rearranged tons, spead up, riffs have been added. better drumming better bass etc. its new if you think about it. newly recorded atleast. ha

the recording quality is sweet, but...

1. guitars should be higher in the mix (possibly double the guitar tracks for a slightly thicker sound)
2. vocals a bit lower in the mix (with some of the layered vocals not so high, gets a bit overwhelming at times)
3. bass a bit higher in the mix as well.

other than these things (sorry im being a dick), it sounds killer and i cant wait to hear the final product.

if you look at it that way it is a new song haha. you guys should get nick conway to play bass again. make sure joe crap makes you one of his pattented 'secret tracks', where he reverses one of your tracks or a something from a song and puts it on the end of the cd as a secret track.

I like the music alot.
Vokills are a bit to loud, I don't really like the layers.
Guitar sounds good but needs a bit of a boost.
Bass needs a big boost too.
Drums sound good, kick is a wee bit to loud, otherwise cymbals and snare are solid.
Good tune though, when's the fucking cd coming out? : D

yeah the levels of everything are not all set. were going to be making some major changes to make it sound brighter and more heavy. layering guitars more dropping vocals is all stuff that we had planned on doing.

i don't like the guitar sound at all... sorry matty!

OK, I posted a better sounding version the one that was posted before was done on a shitty ripping program but I found a better one, you can hear some things alot better... also you can hear how some of guitars are made to be more "haunting" like we meant them to be.

Take a quick listen I bet it'll sound a little bit better.
But yet again its not the final version etc etc.

My last 2 cents about vokills, the layers make them sound processed, that is all.

yeah the backing vocals are going to be either dropped or lowered in the mix substancially.

the backing vocals are great, dont listen to anyone.
