Primus is excited to announce a unique 3D tour this fall, featuring two sets per evening. Being that this is the first-ever traveling 3D enhanced live musical performance, this groundbreaking tour is sure to provide a one-of-a-kind psychedelic experience, further enhanced by the fact that every show will also feature Quad Surround Sound. Setlist from a show in London 4/4/2012.

Classical Intro " Clown Dream " by Danny Elfman,Seas of Cheese,Here Come the Bastards,Sgt. Baker,American Life,Jerry Was a Race Car Driver,Eleven,Is It Luck?,Grandad's Little Ditty,Tommy the Cat,Sathington Waltz,Those Damned Blue-Collar Tweekers.

That would work for me.

yea Primus is definitely a good time but this 3D thing seems... ehhh I don't know, just kind of unappealing at a show to me.

I've been listening to Primus for 11 years and still haven't seen them yet, I'd go to whatever.

Dates just announced for this. Providence show on 10/21 at the Veterans Memorial Auditorium in Prov. Two sets. Although the consensus is these guys are old news I am glad they are still trying to change what they do when it comes to live shows. Can't say that much for the majority of metal.

Where's the Veterans Memorial Auditorium? I'll go check that out when it comes through.

First time I saw Primus was 1992. The last time was about 10 years ago up in middle of nowhere Maine when they were doing all of Sailing the Seas of Cheese as their second set. There was hey all over the gym floor and there were little kids and old people selling baked goods in the lobby. It was very strange. Like seeing them at a hoe down. I might go to this 3D thing.

Right next to providence place. I went there a few months ago for the first time. Similar to PPAC, not as luxurious. Not sure how I'd be able to sit for its entirety but I'll be there. I doubt any of those seats will be removed.

First time I saw em was at Club Babyhead 21 years ago. I've seen several Les Claypool tours, but the last time I saw Primus might have been the Horde Festival with Neil Young and Beck.

This is at the Orpheum in October, the 20th I believe.

Should be sexy.

toggletoggle post by yummy at Aug 7,2012 10:56am
That it will be. I'm considering goin to both the Prov. and Boston shows if I can afford it.

toggletoggle post by mattvc at Aug 7,2012 3:40pm
I'm going to Providence, as Boston is the night we're playing with Miligram.

Anyone have any idea on the price of tickets?

45 for best seats
