got free tickets to the game vs Leafs tomorrow night. This will be my third Bruins game. They lost the first two by one goal, both to Canadian teams. If this is the case again tomorrow, I might never go to a B's game again.
Last night was weird, was glad to see some fire but they looked lost even in their violent outbursts. I was pretty lucky, bought tickets cheap right before the season started to the 2nd game, against Tampa, and it was the only home game they've won, a nice 4-1 beatdown. I think tomorrow's game will be sick - they are desperate for a win at home and Toronto is playing well and will be up for the game. Krejci is a huge hole in the lineup for the B's, hope he is back.
Definitely. Lucic and Horton are pissing me right the fuck off. Horton I give a small amount of sympathy for the concussion but it's been sad watching seguin pick pockets and no one else knowing what to do when he does.
at this point I would barely blink if they traded Lucic, especially if they got a good return.
he has sucked since scoring his 30th goal last year, came back this year looking like he realized they could win a Cup without him playing very hard, so ... and Horton is so bromanced out on him that it fucks up his game. He only wanted to beat Gleason so bad last night because Lucic has had beef with Gleason for years (he beat Lucic in a fight when Looch was a rookie) so Horty wanted to make his BFF proud by fighting Gleason for him ... ugh.
Big win. Referees on both sides were atrocious. What an unlikely win at the hands of the ever-erratic Benoit pouliot.

Best november game in a long fucking time. I was sure they would come back after the first period and they delivered. This team is killing it like nobody's business.
Can someone fucking explain to me how these two hits are not the exact same thing? Yet, Hamhuis wasn't even penalized, and Marchand gets a 5 minute major, a game misconduct, and a 5-game suspension for the exact same hit.
Also, Alain Vigneault said the following about Marchand:
"Marchand—and this is just my feeling—but someday he’s going to get it. Someday, someone’s going to say ‘enough is enough’ and they’re going to hurt the kid because he plays to hurt players. And if the league doesn’t care, somebody else will."
First of all, Vigneault should be suspended for that comment because that is a thinly veiled threat against Marchand, and no coach should make those type of comments.
Secondly, Mr. Vigneault, then HOW THE FUCK do you explain your team ganging up on a guy 6-on-1, with another guy from the bench holding Thornton so the other 6 can attack him? How is that not fucking intent to injure a player? Please explain that to me, you gutless piece of garbage.
And another thing, why has the NHL not said a single word about that 6-on-1 incident other than to recind the Lucic call? Last I checked, 5 guys are supposed to be on the ice, yet, there were 6 guys on the ice, plus another who has a hold of Thornton from the bench. Why are they not talking suspension for whoever was the extra player on the ice or for the guy holding Thornton? Both should get an automatic 10-game suspension according to the NHL rulebook.
I sincerely hope the next time the Bruins and Canucks play (whether it be in the Stanley Cup or next season), when someone on the Bruins gets the puck around mid-ice, they stop, turn, and just take a slapshot into the Canuck bench. It would be the best thing I've ever seen.

oooof. i don't know about a suspension, but that ain't very coachmanlike.
the worst part of that game was when hamhuis cheated with 30 seconds left and grabbed the puck and pulled it into his body. that should've been a penalty shot.
My blood pressure is still through the roof cuz of that fucking game. Deplorable officiating and despicable actions by the canucks. I don't give a shit what anybody says. The bruins have grit but they also play with a lot more class than a lot of teams in the NHL. That dude that iniated the fight with Thornton and then backed off to draw a penalty? Fuckin gross. Never seen anything like it. Glad he at least got called. The marchand suspension is probably due to him being a repeat offender but rusty hit the salient points. Bullshit game was absolute bullshit.

Forgot about that

Btw, that was Burrows The Biter that speared Thornton
When that man dies, I'm throwing a party.
Oh, nevermind, you're talking about Weise...yea, that was one of the most cowardly things I've ever witnessed...If I were a Canucks fan, I'd be ashamed

boo to marchand being suspended for 5 games. a bit over the top. :/
Agreed especially regarding the consistency of calls but like I said above, Marchand is a repeat offender this year and the league wants to make an example of repeat offenders.
The Bruins' loss to them earlier in this season I saw as a fluke. I think the B's will dominate the play tonight and will take the win. Let's see how Pouliot fares with the Oompa Loompa line in Marchand's absence.

that video is amazing. even the announcers aren't buying the canucks' BS.

I think the Bs will take Saturday's loss out on Winnipeg tonight
A vagina that's soaked for the b's. That guy is my favorite color commentator (in b4 racits). I fucking hate that dude emric or whatever from vs. His only verb is knife.

Seriously, fuck the whole city of Vancouver, the whole population are douchebags, and I hope the next time they get eliminated, the people burn their "beautiful" city to the fucking ground
Apparently Thomas has snubbed obama's invitation to the Whitehouse to be honored by the president for the cup win. Media speculation points to a political statement made by Thomas but the actual reason is unconfirmed.
"I believe the Federal government has grown out of control, threatening the Rights, Liberties, and Property of the People.
This is being done at the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial level. This is in direct opposition to the Constitution and the Founding Fathers vision for the Federal government.
Because I believe this, today I exercised my right as a Free Citizen, and did not visit the White House. This was not about politics or party, as in my opinion both parties are responsible for the situation we are in as a country. This was about a choice I had to make as an INDIVIDUAL.
This is the only public statement I will be making on this topic. TT"
the 2012 version of marty turco is the worst goalie i've ever seen

They've been in a funk ever since the Vancouver game. I think not getting a rematch in the regular season is screwing with their heads. Get well soon Rask, Horton, Peverly, Frerence. The new guys aren't fitting in too well.
Northeast division and the #2 seed in the East = clinched
Rolston looking good...Peverley's back...hopefulloy, they let guys rest the next 3 games to try to stay as healthy as possible going into the playoffs
I was so confused as to why he was acquired at first but he has definitely come into his own and is meshing well with the team. Timmy had a great game last night and I hope he keeps it up. He looked like garbage for a while this year.
