the best was after Evan borrowed Hessian's cab, the dude told him to bring it over next to the rest of their gear and that he would be right back, "we're gonna go smoke some crack in our van and be right back"
oh i thought you were all referring to the Socery show at the met (or living room?) wayyyy back in the day with Satan John hacking up ritual animal flesh on stage during the set.

Fucking sweet show - i played bass in Sorcery waay back in the day, i dont even remember what fucking year it was...good times in that band. I remember playing the living room a bunch with them and Satan John always delivered.
I hope they have one of these juggalo nights after the show. It would be way more neat than the rave kids after a metal show at hell.

Lets see, where do I begin, well Blessed Offal was good, Hessian was not bad, but seemed sloppy and Sorcery was excellent and Bog was good. Lets just say the crowd was good but not as big as it should of been. The sound man sucked and each band had a different sound. The place is great but I guess the sound man was on crack or something. Dont know who booked this gig but did they check the venue out or just book a show!

The "soundman" wasn't a soundman at all. It was Allan the dude running the club for now. The biggest problem with the sound was putting the PA speakers right in the middle of the fucking room. Worst possible place for them. Not only does it sound like shit but disperses the crowd in a way that absolutely kills the entire vibe of what would have been an awesome show. This club was the 201 just a few months ago and every show I attended there was tons of fun and the PA system was in the right place.
I talked to the owner of the club and we was saying he put the PA speakers in the middle of the room because it was feeding back when the mics were in front of the speakers. Which makes sense, I guess, but I don't have that problem and I've got a much shittier PA to work with than that one...

I had fun. Wish the sound was better. I've played the 201 multiple times and never had a problem. I guess that's what happens when asshats that have never hosted shows of this nature try telling the bands "the most professional way to go about this."
