"When we were younger, we never thought of death. But death becomes familiar as we get older.

"We have a feeling that death is waiting for us. This doesn't mean I want to die. But we become less afraid of death, as we get older."

Would American senior citizens do this?

Some would, but once this generation passes I don't think that kind of honor and ethic will exist in America anymore.

But it's not new, Japan has ALWAYS outclassed the rest of the world. Except the whole tentacle raping schoolgirl porn thing.

No, they would protest that we should get illegal immigrant families to do it instead.

i think that's total bullshit. i'm sure your great great grand pappy said the same thing.

america is a big place with people at every edge of the curve. japan is a small place with japanese people.

if a nuclear reactor explodes in the middle of the desert in arizona, nobody would give a fuck. if it explodes in the middle of boston, people might. the way i see it, every inch of japan is worth saving, and i wish 3/4 of america would sink into the ocean. so it depends.

Wow, make up your mind long enough to make your point. You negated the whole first half of what you said in the last sentence.

Nope, too busy telling the government to get their filthy hands off their medicare and making misspelled signs for their hoveround while wearing a cheap plastic American flag visor that was made in China.

Turn middle america into a lake and have a stone skipping competition on either side.

I wouldn't do it for anywhere but the Boston area only because I think the cities/nature places are too cool to become Chernobyl'd

I think there will always be a group of people willing to risk dying so that others may live, firefighters for example
