I'm just being incendiary give me a break! I actually haven't been to the Iron Horse myself, which might make me lame, although the average fare consists of hippy music and more hippy music. Also the entertainment group that books the venue (Iron Horse Entertainment Group) has a monopoly on pretty much every venue in Noho (other than the Elevens) which has led to plenty of opportunities to see white dudes play reggae and a lock out of almost anything heavy (except for the once a decade metal core event). They do occasionally book emo friendly indie rock and pop punk too...

He puts on an interesting show. Talks for 2-3 hours usually about his observances from travels around the world and his opinions on various current topics. He'll usually throw in some cool old stories from Black Flag days and that era.

The Iron Horse is one of the worst venues I've ever been too. To call it lame is to pay it a compliment. Horrible, yuppie centric atmosphere, overpriced drinks, terrible sound, overpriced cover, and the merch will also be overpriced.

Wanna know why? Anyone who plays there, the owner takes 20% of their merch sales, even though it's a tiny, tiny place the size of Ralph's. Have fun!

it was his "stand up"(i dont know what to call it) act. stories were good but everyone was laughing at the dumbest shit as if they wanted to feel loved by rollins. i found this quite hilarious throughout the show. all around alright. however northampton sucks.
