i work on video and animations for ads for a company that has digital screens in elevators. the ads run with news stories and weather and shit like that.

That's exactly what it is. I pulled a bunch of random stuff off Youtube mostly from random optical illusions and trippy space and science stuff and just played around with layering it and slapping different effects on things. It was actually kind of stale until my room mates got ridiculously stoned, came in my room and started shouting out suggestions.
hahahaha I did not expect this to be this awesome. Well done. The timing with everything was perfect. My eyes were legitimately teared up from laughing.

It was fantastic. Maybe something different should happen with Homer at the end, like he should say something, or look to the side, or whatever, just to break it up.
it would be hilarious if you could find a way for him to pass out at the end like when he is talking to Flanders at the cider factory and his brain floats away.
