Yeah, Rich Horror will hook you up nicely, he puts on a mean black metal bill. Talk to Chris who books Metal Thursdays at Ralph's in Worcester, he puts on great shows as well. PVD, Meredith from AS220 is cool, you can also try Ammonia Booking for Boston, there are a lot of people who put on shows.

search for the shows themselves? How? This band's from CONN, how do you think they should get on the shows? Call the clubs directly? The BEST thing they can expect from that would be for the clubs to give them the same advice they've just been given in this thread.. Rich, Robin, FMIS, Rhen, METAL THURS, etc.... So are you just a dick, or do you have something against this band? Or have other people not ever given your band a chance?

By the way, we played with this band at the shamrock in CONN about a week and a half ago, they were good solid awesome melodic black metal.

Yeah, he emailed me. It was strange, he started the email with a douchey, passive-aggressive mention of how he TRIED to stay in contact with me, but how obviously i flaked out.. LOL

Haha, fair enough, he seems to have moved on to another universe or something... Anyway when Katahdin does get out to Boston hopefully we'll cross paths with you and your band(s) soon enough!

It will definitely happen, i think you guys should talk to Darkwor about getting on a show with them, you'd fit together great.

Darkwor actually came out to the Shamrock a few months back. They're awesome dudes I'll definitely hit them up

holy shit.. all the way from connecticut? perhaps they could use the internet and try to personally contact the promoters... there's at least 10 shows listed in the boston area on the front page every day... "Who should I talk to about booking shows?"... are they 14 years old? Lazy sons of bitches. and yes I am a dick.

Big Red knows that any of his bands are welcome to play at my shows. You guys have played at the old spot before, would love to have you guys again at the new one.

personally contacting promoters and venues is fine, but there's nothing wrong with putting on a general message saying that you're looking for shows. It's called using all your resources and dare I say, apart from the usual nastiness, RTTP can be a good resource.

That said, Katahdin is definitely on my list of bands that I want to book for shows! (once I get my ass in gear haha)

If it's black metal and in Boston, me and Czarnobog are all you need to talk to. Aside from the rare show Paul CNV puts on, all other shows are false so do not entry.
