New site? Maybe some day.

This is probably a completely retarded question; I specialize in those.
What kind of equipment/pedal/etc. do I need to re-combine a split guitar/bass signal into one amp? Is it anything more than a 1/4" jack splitter, or is that gonna cause weird phase problems?
I don't even need this switchable - just my signal split (either from an A/B of just the wet / dry out of my SansAmp), run through different effects (shitty stomp boxes) and then combined, into the front of my amp.
Am I overthinking this, or is there some obscure product I need to buy? (As a bass player, I've remained blissfully ignorant of effects and signal chains until now.) |

Off the top of my head, I'm pretty sure D0D makes a box that does exactly that - takes 2 signals and combines it to one or vice versa. Can't help you any more than that on a blackberry though |

I've seen the DOD 270 AB recommended for this, just don't know if that's actually a good idea. LOL |
|
Yeah that's it. Is it a good idea? You'll find out. |
|
Well, just bid on one on ebay, I'll let ya know. |
