Let's use this thread to vent about our horrible jobs.

Mine = Library clerk, but not public service.

I sit at a desk, in a room with 6 women and one really awkward dude with huge ears.

One of the women, NEVER (never) shuts the fuck up. She's lound, obnoxious, has one of those valley girl cheerleader type voices, airs her personal life all over the place, spends 6 out of the 8 hours talking on the phone loud enough for me to here (I'm the lucky one who sits closest to her), so my space gets invaded with all her personal family bullshit constantly. Did I mention she never shuts the fuck up.

My eyes hurt and I get bad headaches from staring at a computer screen all day.

I get tendinitus in my wrists from doing the same repetive motions for hours at a time.

The building I work in is disgusting, dirty, smelly, horrible dust (I have terrible allergies).

Our office is always FREEZING cold, despite many attempts to get my boss to tell someone to turn the AC down.

I get anxious beyond belief from sitting in the same place everyday.

I get paid shit, while others who do less work than me get paid 2-3 times more, because they have a piece of paper that says "I have a masters degree from SUNY fucking Albany".

Did I mention it's boring as fuck? Like you wouldn't believe....

The people that work payroll are incompetant idiots who fuck up everyone's paycheck constantly. Most recently they cost me $300 for not properly addressing a change in my health insurance premium. Guess who they blamed for that?

Can't quit because NY State's economy is in the fucking toilet, and NO ONE is hiring (everyone is laying off though).

I could go on all day...

i went on a 20 minute rant about this yesterday after band practice

i'm just happy i have a job.

i cant go into any details because of banking regulations and such but doing customer service for a credit union in this current state of the economy is beyond stressful. people associate us with all the irresponsible banking institutions that took handouts from the govt and it sucks ass. also dealing with crazy indian people all day is enough to make me wanna blow my brains out by the time my shift is over.

after listening to you rant last night for like 30 minutes Tom, i don't feel so bad about my job anymore.

There's nothing bad about my job. I just feel like I could be doing a whole lot more.

The Patriots already have a defensive coordinator, so I don't know where else to go.

I should be making a whole lot more. I'm an idiot for staying with the same company since I should be well into 6 figures for what I'm able to do with code.

Not having a job and trying to get freelance clients is the suck.

i cant find a job either... shit is gay. may car keeps having shit go wrong with it too and im behind on my rent... i want to kill myself every second of every day.

also, no one is buying any of the shit i have for sale... i have had my bass and my pod for sale for over a month.
