flat, boring, uninspired crap. GET THE FUCK AWAY FROM DIMMU BORGIR!!! i've listened to this 6 or 7 times and it gets worse every time i hear it. if you are an Old Man's Child fan, stay far, far away from this. i give it an F in every way.

the guitar work is atrocious, the drum work is completely inadequate, and the vocals sound like ass. way to go Galder, way to go. even the insert to the album is awful.

This band SUCKS and always has. So mediocre. And the live vocals are a joke.

Born of the Flickering, The Pagan Prosperity, Ill-Natured Spiritual Invasion, Revelation 666 and Vermin are amazing. i'm not a huge fan of In Defiance of Existance, the drums are the best part. they are anything but mediocre. however this new one....yeeesh.

to quote you John, "well, you're an idiot".

NO U

I really enjoy 90% of Dimmu Borg's work (gasp) but I never really got into this band. Pat used to listen to them a lot, and I thought The Pagan Prosperity was decent, but I would always want to put on something else. You know, something better.

i love Dimmu, but this was a ghastly attempt at sounding like them. see that is exactly the same way i feel about Absu, its ok, it just isn't anything special and i would always want to put on something else. save the new album, i bought that and it kicks major ass.

I didn't think it wasn't so much a Dimmu rip-off. The guitar work is similar, but he's been playing with them a while now so I'm sure that has a lot to do with it. My main problem with it was the lack of energy in the music and the fact that it just seemed half-assed.

true, it wasn't like it was Dimmu part 2, i more meant the production and guitar tone. it sounds exactly like In Sorte Diaboli.

I thought the guitar tone is way more dry on the new OMC. And a lot of the riffs were just senseless wanking that had no cohesive thought behind them.

yeah this is forgettable. Don't bother with it.
