I'm pretty sure this stuff is out of my league. I'd love it if I COULD play this stuff. Alas, I seem to be essentially in the same situation I fell into the last time I almost auditioned for you guys. Except my car breaking down apparently isn't an issue (It DID break down this time. But I have transport possibilities in this case.) My amp not entirely working at the moment, however, is an issue.

3 times a week would be essentially out. Unless one practice could be an early-in-the-day type practice. (Because of the job. Even though my hours are sort of flexible enough now that I could probably get two set days off per week if I really tried.)

Good luck with your search guys. Hopefully you find a good guitar player like jimbo did with Useful Idiot. Speaking of U.I. why don't you ask your new guitar player from there to play in Boarcorpse? Just a suggestion.

I do D standard with 10's. Makes the strings a tad floppy and out of tune.

I actually started using that tuning by accident. Thought I was in E years ago.

I used to do D standard with 10s. Now I do C# with 12s. It's like life started to actually make sense to me.
