Anyone over the age of 14 who wants to go to a Mastodon "meet & greet" needs to seriously get a life/ get a job / get laid.

I think the last meet and greet I attended was In Flames, at the Braintree Newbury Comics. I was pretty young, had to be 15 or 16 at least.

And I think the best part was they didn't even show up!

natick collection is such a gay name. scott from my band told me the original plan was to just call it natick, but the town shot that confusing and retarded idea down, so they called it the natick collection. pretentious and gay.

Who's going to the show at the HOB?

I'm gonna make the trip. Wasn't planning on it, but a good friend of mine who I haven't seen in forever, asked me to go, so I got a ticket yesterday.

I guess they've been playing "CTS" in its entirety, followed by stuff from "Leviathan" and "Blood Mountain".

Also, anyone been to that venue before?

I'm curious how tight the security is. In my experience, Mass authority types are generally fucking dicks about weed.

Basically, I want to know if I should I hide mine in my shoe, or up my ass.

It's not THAT bad is it?

I didn't like it at 1st, and I still don't like 2 of the songs, but I think it's pretty solid. I like it more with each listen. I find that I have to kind of think outside the metal box a little. It's more of a heavy rock album to me.

The song w/ Scott Kelly is really fucking good, but I'd be hard pressed to find anything that he's involved in that doesn't rule.

It's no "Remission" though.

It's not completely horrible, but from what I've heard of it, the songs are incredibly boring -- I find this not the case with most of their previous material.

For the record, my girlfriend works at this Hot Topic and asked me to promote this for her...

But it would be fun to go and ask them to stop sucking at music.
