I LOL'd at this this morning. Fuck him.

toggletoggle post by G nli at Mar 5,2009 8:19am
Yea it was all over SC last night.

toggletoggle post by SkinSandwich at Mar 5,2009 8:20am
I wonder if he's crying again?

toggletoggle post by W3 nli at Mar 5,2009 8:20am
should be interested to see where he winds up, I was bummed when I read Ray Lewis resigned with the Ravens kinda liked the idea of him on the Pats.

toggletoggle post by SkinSandwich at Mar 5,2009 8:21am edited Mar 5,2009 8:22am
fuck

toggletoggle post by G nli at Mar 5,2009 8:22am
I'm trying to think who would want him. There are a lot of teams who are in need of a good WR.

toggletoggle post by SkinSandwich at Mar 5,2009 8:23am
Already a lot of talk about the Saints.

toggletoggle post by RustyPS  at Mar 5,2009 8:25am
I think the Bengals will snatch him up actually

toggletoggle post by G nli at Mar 5,2009 8:25am
I can see the bengals jumping on this.

toggletoggle post by W3 nli at Mar 5,2009 8:32am
as much as it would help them I really hope the Saints stay away from this.

toggletoggle post by W3 nli at Mar 5,2009 8:33am
oh yeah....get your popcorn ready.

toggletoggle post by xmikex at Mar 5,2009 8:44am
Prediction:

The Giants will pick him up, and this decision will come back to haunt the Cowboys bigtime.

I don't think the Saints will want to spend TO caliber money on more offense. They dumped McCallister because they needed the cap space to rebuild their defense.

I don't see the Bengals picking him up because I honestly don't see TO wanting to play for the Bengals. Him and Chad Johnson on opposite sides of the field would be a three ring circus too. That wouldn't be so bad if they had somebody to block for Carson Palmer so he'd have time to throw to either of them.

I see the Giants stepping in, dumping Burress, knocking the Cowboys out of playoff contention, and then choking in the first round of the playoffs, and 2 years from now TO will be on the Dan Patrick show telling the world that Eli Manning sucks.

toggletoggle post by xmikex at Mar 5,2009 8:50am
Actually, I'm amending my prediction. I see the Vikings as the #2 team most likely to go after T.O. They were #2 in the sweepstakes for TJ Houshmehnakjhfkhsdlkhgah.... and they traded for Rosenfels, so you know a revamped offense is what's on their mind.

toggletoggle post by G nli at Mar 5,2009 8:50am
Yea the Cowboys definitely don't want to see TO go to someone in their division let alone another good team.

toggletoggle post by G nli at Mar 5,2009 8:51am
TO could do some damage in KC with Cassel but I think they're good with WRs

toggletoggle post by Pires at Mar 5,2009 8:54am
hope he signs to the dolphins!

I think if they were worried about that, they would've shopped him in a trade instead, I could be wrong though

damnit, can't edit in text mode. After seeing coles to the bengals and housh to the seahawks, I'd love to see a no.1 reciever in Miami. And as I type this, espn reports that torry holt wants to be released as well.

toggletoggle post by SkinSandwich at Mar 5,2009 8:58am
Let's see if he can manage to play for every team in the NFC east before he retires. It's more likely than you think!

OOOO, I'd LOVE to see Holt in a Pats uniform

lol nope the Skins are outta money so he'd have to go to the Giants.

Owens predictions are officially blogged:

http://boo-urns-football.blogspot.com/

toggletoggle post by G nli at Mar 5,2009 10:04am
lol @

"5. Owens will sign with the Jets. The Jets would love the opportunity to spend more money on free agents and ignore the fact that they don't have a quarterback. Favre's ears would perk up all the way down in Louisiana, and he'd be on the first plane back to New York fighting to come back out of retirement. A media circus ensues, Favre and Owens stop talking to each other by week 6, and the Jets miss the playoffs. Hell, now that I'm saying it, this seems like the most likely situation."

well either way they have no one to blame but themselves if he ends up on a team in their division.

hahahahaha

im saying he goes to the packers or chargers

toggletoggle post by RustyPS  at Mar 5,2009 1:29pm
they were just saying on EEI that the Redskins and Giants already turned TO down...lol

toggletoggle post by xmikex at Mar 5,2009 1:35pm
Actually, I hadn't even considered the Chargers. That would be a pretty sweet pickup for them considering the numbers Phillip "Stay Outta Riverdale" Rivers put up with Chris Chambers and shitty Vincent Jackson as his 1-2.

I still stick by the Eagles as a team to consider.

toggletoggle post by reimroc at Mar 5,2009 1:36pm
TO+Cassel at the Chiefs maybe?

toggletoggle post by xmikex at Mar 5,2009 1:37pm
I heard the Browns went on record saying that they're not interested in Owens. Typical Browns move considering A. nobody asked, B. why the hell would Owens even want to play there?

toggletoggle post by guy at Mar 5,2009 1:43pm
yup TO back to philly

toggletoggle post by RustyPS  at Mar 5,2009 1:46pm
if TO goes back to Philly, McNabb would probably ask to be traded

toggletoggle post by FuckIsMySignature at Mar 5,2009 1:53pm
he should go to the Chiefs with Cassel

toggletoggle post by W3 @ WORK at Mar 5,2009 1:57pm
I'm waiting to hear that Miami picked him up.

toggletoggle post by xmikex at Mar 5,2009 1:58pm
McNabb looked out for the dude when he tried to kill himself. If they bail eachother out of having to watch both their careers fall apart then I think all will be forgiven.

toggletoggle post by W3 @ WORK at Mar 5,2009 2:07pm
i wanna see Vick tossing TD passes to T.O. in Miami dammit.

Joey Porter would approve.

toggletoggle post by tylor  at Mar 5,2009 2:11pm
no way in hell TO's going to the eagles, same for the chiefs, pioli wouldnt waste his time. packers, chargers, broncos, raiders make the most sense to me

toggletoggle post by tylor  at Mar 5,2009 2:12pm
oh and i hate to say it, but maybe the colts? they just let marvin harrison go. peyton/TO would be a scary answer to brady/moss

toggletoggle post by Pires at Mar 5,2009 2:42pm
colts are a viable option. He'd want to go to a contender.

toggletoggle post by RustyPS  at Mar 5,2009 2:45pm
EEI just said Springs is close to signing with the Pats

toggletoggle post by Pires at Mar 5,2009 2:47pm
haha I just posted that in the Galloway thread

toggletoggle post by RustyPS  at Mar 5,2009 2:48pm
I forgot about the Galloway thread until you just posted...lol

cowboys release safety Roy Williams. Man they're cleaning house.

Colts have a ton of money wrapped up in Reggie Wayne, Anthony Gonzalez and Dallas Clark. They drafted Gonzalez to take over for Marvin Harrison someday, and he's been looking pretty good so far.

A lot of people said Pioli wouldn't waste his time with Randy Moss, but here we are. Packers, no way, they've got Greg Jennings and Donald Driver and don't need to spend a billion dollars on TO to play slot. The Broncos are looking like they're out to sign just about everybody under the sun, but their receiver corps were already crowded. Depending on what happens with Brandon Marshall they're a distant possibility for now. The Raiders... say what you want about Terell Owens, but I wouldn't wish the Raiders on my worst enemy.

toggletoggle post by Pires at Mar 5,2009 6:23pm
no ones mentioned the ravens? I think he'd be just what they needed. Flacco might buckle under the constant crying by TO but that team is good. Although their defense took a hit with Scott leaving, and rolle wanting out, I think they'll still be good next year.

It would be a mindfuck if he ended up a Patriot. Can you imagine the receiving core for Brady? Welker, Moss and T.O.?

It would never happen though.

The Ravens are 1 of 15 teams that have either officially, or un-officially announced that they have no interest in signing Terell Owens. Sucks because that would have been a good fit. The Ravens wide receiver core is fucking garbage, and their severe lack of offense is what kept them from advancing in the playoffs. God forbid anybody tells that to the Ravens though. Maybe now that Rex Ryan is gone, and half their defense walked out they'll actually invest in being a well rounded football team.

toggletoggle post by RustyPS  at Mar 6,2009 8:42am
Even when they won the SB, the Ravens never had a good offense....I doubt they'll change now

toggletoggle post by xmikex at Mar 6,2009 8:54am
Drew Rosenhaus is saying that "several teams" are interested in T.O.

The first two words of that sentence should tell you half the reason people don't want to sign Owens. Rosenhaus is the worst agent in sports.

toggletoggle post by W3 @ WORK at Mar 6,2009 9:17am
dood Jerry McGwire was such a good movie though and LOL @ several teams, just like Manny had several teams interested in him too right ?

toggletoggle post by reimroc at Mar 6,2009 9:19am
T.O. will end up somewhere.

toggletoggle post by W3 @ WORK at Mar 6,2009 9:21am

I hope the Pats do not pursue Owens. What a fucking drama queen headache that would be.
I would like to see Marvin Harrison step into the Pats fray. Give him a 2 year deal as he is old but he has awesome hands although he has lost a step. I would also like to see Roy Williams the hard hitting safety from Dallas come up here, as well as Sumari Rolle. He wants out of Baltimore and this would help to almost solidify the secondary. Sean Springs has definetly signed with NE which is great!

toggletoggle post by SkinSandwich at Mar 6,2009 10:17am
BTW, I still can't get past Brian Dawkins NOT coming here. Lito Sheppard is still on the market I believe. They should bring him in for a cup of coffee and contract.

toggletoggle post by SkinSandwich at Mar 6,2009 10:20am
Fuck, forget it. Lito went to the damned Jets. WTF.

toggletoggle post by xmikex at Mar 6,2009 10:30am
Roy Williams? You mean the guy that single handedly spawned the horse collar tackle rule, and still gets called for horse collar tackles?

Yeah sure, why not.

toggletoggle post by SkinSandwich at Mar 6,2009 10:35am edited Mar 6,2009 10:35am
Sure, why not! You don't like him because he's black

toggletoggle post by xmikex at Mar 6,2009 12:25pm
THIS JUST IN!

Owens and Rosenhaus spotted at the Nashville airport together. No word yet if there's a meeting scheduled with the Titans. But a team with Owens and Vince Young is certain to lead the league in attempted suicides.

toggletoggle post by RustyPS  at Mar 6,2009 12:27pm
If TO signs with the Titans, Tennessee will somehow sink, leaving a brand new lake behind
