Wow. I like you. A lot.

toggletoggle post by badsneakers at Sep 28,2008 1:58pm
man those re-masters were terrible! Glad I kept my originals too

toggletoggle post by Martins   at Sep 28,2008 2:02pm
Well turns out I had the pre-remaster all along. Still, thanks a lot for that, Sinistas.

toggletoggle post by sinistas   at Sep 28,2008 2:29pm
I have both versions for laughing from time to time. Why couldn't they have just remastered instead of remixed? Ugh.

toggletoggle post by goatcatalyst   at Sep 28,2008 3:00pm
Cuz Mustaine is a ginger faggot who can't do nothin' right.

toggletoggle post by Mess at Sep 28,2008 3:16pm
megadeth was one of the most influential bands for me growing up. probably more than metallica.

toggletoggle post by Martins   at Sep 28,2008 3:17pm
Rust In Peace ≈ ...And Justice For All

Maybe just a little bit better, actually.

toggletoggle post by IllinoisEnemaBradness at Sep 28,2008 5:13pm
is it just me or Mustard re-sing parts on those remastered cd's?

toggletoggle post by Martins   at Sep 28,2008 5:22pm
Used different recordings because apparently the vocal tracks from the original released recording were lost.

they had to use different takes for some of the songs because the original vocal tracks were lost apparently

I own the remaster and like it better to be honest, production has so much more beef.

toggletoggle post by slymo  at Sep 28,2008 8:33pm
remastered sucks

toggletoggle post by xanonymousx at Sep 28,2008 8:44pm
is the remaster have like 25 versions of the same song on it?

toggletoggle post by archaeon at Sep 28,2008 9:01pm
yes

the remastered version of rust in peace is better overall. being that megadeth was the first metal band i listened to, i had all of their albums and had most of the songs memorized with pin point accuracy for a looooong time.. because thats what 7-8 year olds do when they get into something new, they obsess over it. i owned rust in peace 3 times before the remaster came out and i got it a 4th time and it was the newer version.

the songs have thicker production, the bass sound is better, the vocals are different but not worse or really better in anyway... its just a better, more modern production.

rust in peace is still their best hands down. doesnt matter what version you hear.
