Normally, I wouldn't post personal things like this. But, waking up to finding out that you're uncle hung himself is fucking devastating. I'm confused, hurt, and overall just pissed off. If anybody here ever kills themselves, I never knew you.

that shit is rough. my uncle was murdered 3 years ago on the day i started college. you just gotta focus on all the good things. remember him for who he was, not for what he did. try to use this to bring the family closer together.

that's horrible, sorry to hear it. my uncle died when i was 6 after some really horrible things happened in his life. it ruined my family.

yesterday, i woke up to find that my 32 year old cousin was rushed to the hospital with liver problems and it turns out she has a serious heart infection. she has had heart problems all her life and i'm really worried about her.

Thanks guys. I guess what makes this difficult for my family and I is that everyone has really gone out of their way to help him out. Key problem being his drinking. He burnt some bridges by staying here and there, borrowing, stealing, and being unappreciative. Yet, he'd beg for help when he really needed it. For me, family is very important and I'm the type of person who wouldn't turn my back on someone even if the whole world would. This is a major slap in the face. Maybe over time (hopefully sooner than later) I won't look at it that way. Thank you again guys.
