I will have some openings in early August for music video slots. I am offering great prices for full on 1080p High def music video's. I will roll all editing cost right into the quote and leave you with a very high quality professional video. I have a project lined up for early August which I will be outsourcing top notch pro level camera equipment which will be used during these video shoots. Im willing to work my ass off to make sure your video's are 100% top notch. I'll make your ugly recordings look pretty, or give your pretty recordings a video they deserve. For each video I will:

Travel within reason
Film for as many hours as you want per day
Work on themes with the band
Supply all tapes and other filming supplies
FREE editing (I know I am going to regret this one!)
Help promote your band/video

anything I can show now will be way under what this quality will be. It will not do it justice. I am renting high def camera's that film in 24p, lighting, and a few other sweet toys that are going to make for cinema like quality film. I will build my portfolio from this point on.

Josh, will you still be able to do this say, during or after the winter time? You said you'll be renting it so I doubt it? If not, I have an HD cam corder but yea, it's not the same.
We're aiming to have our album recorded come winter so I'll let ya know if you're still willing.

at that time I will have my own gear. I am taking this very serious and reinvesting every last penny I get to get my studio running the way I want. So yes, I will still be doin this.

Just a few more weeks! I can do basic video's real cheap. I can get deep into editing/filming for a little more and still be dirt cheap.

Not to sound like a dick Josh, but it's gonna be hard to get people to do this without at least basic pricing and an example of quality or a finished product.

Reason I am not posting prices is because I am very flexible depending on what the customer wants. I am doing deals here and not normal set rates. Set rates for editing these days are about 50 an hour at a real cheap studio ranging from there up to anywhere around 150-200 an hr.


I am looking to build a portfolio so I am all about cutting serious deals. Here are some things I thought of... 10 hour day of shooting FREE and $400 for 40 hours of editing. That puts me at minumum wage. This would be for full on editing, plots to video etc etc. Story line, acting, rehersal anything you want.

Or I could always do a roll up to the place, say play the song 5 times, film you at your banbd space, and slap your music behind it. Minimal editing and charge 150 bucks total. Not bad at all for a high def video!


If you wanted to go all out, CGI, green screens, heavy editing, possible animation, intense few day shoot and lots of editing, obviously I am going to have to charge more. Thats only for someone that really wants a huge production and probably not best suited for local non signed bands, or bands signed to smaller labels.





I will work out a deal to make the bands happy.

whats the story with the nedf dvd, what are you shooting with?

I mostly ask because I planned on filming most bands cause Im creepy like that, I have a ton of fujifilm mini dv tapes (like a shoebox full) because I was very into liberating them last year...) so depending on what your doing quality wise I can lend my tapes and sweat toward a finished product rather than just for my own personal jollies... let me know

I might have some canon Gl2's there for a few things too, so bring some extra tapes if you got em. I am so tapped for cash. I got 1200 in deposits already into the rentals and need to pay another 1200 for the balance by the fest. Hard part is I only have 400 right now so thats why I am trying to cut deal for people with video's. I may be sucking dick for cash soon.

If you need a crew member, I'm willing to work (depending on my schedule / where the shot is at).

I got a decent crew already, but if I can score more decent gear, or if the rental place hooks me up with more shit for renting a lot I will let you know!

I think I still have upwards of 80 or so tapes left, I dont know how many you'd be looking for, but I'm happy to contribute what I can to the fest

just bring a bunch with you. Not sure what we are goin to use. I'd like to get one camer to roll the entire fest non stop, even just hanging out and what ever.
