Not sure about who is doing vocals, but def got the thumbs up from Alex and Blue, so i am stoked to the max.
The show doesn't actually start then, probably more like 6 or so. The doors are at 5, and people usually get there at about 5:30 or 6, and then Josh pushes to do first band when enough people show up. We have to be done by 11. |

Outcasted(sp?) sounded better outside than inside. The acoustics are awful for a band like that.
Empty Orchestra sounded good, but same deal. They need a smaller space to sound their best. Really good stuff though!

An Interesting night to say the least, Skip to PE if you want real goodies
The Red Scare: pretty boring and didn't seem to have any idea what was going on, I'm not even sure what type of music they were playing.
TITMS: Were awesome, energetic and had good songs. Not the right crowd for them but still were impressive.
The Arkham White: Not really my style but they exucuted it well, Metalcore without the gay. The singer was awesome, made the band miles better for me.
Outclassed: Put on a good preformance and definitely had some original shit, I need to check them out on mysapce later. The acoustic were fucking terrible.
HYEO: We're really fucking good, I kinda rushed out so i forgot to pick up their demo, need to remember to snag that soon.
Parasitic Extirpation: haha oh boy. Nothing better then getting a trash can throw directly at your neck from will dysentery 10 seconds into a set. All the dudes who were there to see PE stormed in, will throw trash can, will got kicked out for the first time. After getting hit in the head twice by paul proteus i decided to move back to aviod a beating. The stuff that happened next is pretty vague because it happened so fast. Paul bumped in one of the dudes in outclassed (mulletguy) and mulletguy was clearly ticked off but just let it go. Some woman who runs things there or whatnot came up behind aaron micheal and paul and was like tapping them on the shoulder and PP was just like walking away kinda swinging his arms, somehow mulletguy accidentally locked arms with him and and PP just started fucking whaling on the dude in the head. It might of happened a bit differently but thats the general idea. then about 100 people stormed outside because of this little thing which let to the kicking out of will (time 2) paul and aaron micheal. haha. other than those festivities their set was great, The temp singer did a really good job too. |

Yea im all into people having a good time but no need to get all mongo smash on some scrawny dood who got in the way.
If you hit someone that doesnt wanna be hit try and restrain yourself and apologize it goes a long way and we get to have more venues that way. |

and grant i might add that you'll actually be able to make that statement with much more certainty when you can actually get into a local death metal show...THERE ARE PLENTY OF KILLER DEATH METAL SHOWS.
