Decrepit Birth for sure, and some of the other blasty bands that are moving in the super-technical direction like Hour Of Penance and Severed Savior. the new Revocation is gonna be tit. plus the new Brain Drill.
im really excited for the ep from Plebeian Grandstand - no ones ever heard of them and their art looks like it belongs on a xiu xiu cd, but the music reminds me of jerome's dream, creation is crucifixion, early dillinger. great stuff. speaking of shit no ones ever heard, Nightbringer should have a cd out on full moon productions...excellent aggressive black metal like early anaal nathrakh

Portal's Outre was 2007's best death metal album by far. I'd be surprised if another DM band can release an album this year that will surpass the absurd morbidity of that album. |
