i mean i guess it depends on your budget and what kind of fest your doing (metal/hardcore/indie/whatever) but overall some bands id like to see right now are Psyopus, The Faceless, Shai Hulud, With Honor, Since the Flood, Vanna, Verse, Zao.

one problem that I'm seeing is that all the people that might attend this are now in bands that would play it.
the only way to get local kids to come out now is if there is whiney singing in your band. then the kids parents pick them up right after.

Just so you guys know I am the other guy putting this on. I personally would like to see goreality, proteus, porphyria, clitorture, Dysentery, what once was, Dour Cursiva, the mamon(sp) machine, and quite a few other from here on there. We obviously do not have a date confirmed yet, so we can't 100% confirm any bands yet, but we will as soon as possible.

i really don't know about worcester the only venue that would be good for this would probably be the qvcc since the palladium charges $$$$ to rent the place out then you would need to pay the security bar tenders ect.

yeah Worcester unfortunately wouldnt be ideal since there is no good place for it, unless you could get like the Lucky Dog or something but then you'd be inundated with scenesters, and that wouldnt happen anyways since the Dog is only for cool people. QVCC is really the only place, but that sucks so no.

There is always Rox's. As long as you make sure someone who knows what they're doing is handling the sound, that place isn't too bad.

the QVCC is hit or miss...either the show is awesome or 2 kids show up, depends on who you put on

you could feasibly do the palladium if you really wanted

it's $2000 for everything(the upstairs, that is, but it includes staff, sound, etc.)

with the amount of bands it looks like you're going to book, you could easily make your money back(have 20 bands sell 10 $10 tickets...if they can't do that they should quit playing shows)

Being a promoter/musician my self I say selling tickets is gay. Thats the job of the promoter. thats what they are there for. If they need bands to do thier job they do not belong having the job in the first place.
