hallowed butchery: one kid with a CD player or something. He screamed along with a bunch of track, flipping around on the ground like a fish. A lot of 8-bit sounds, but it was really good. He also had tons of samples going off too. oh yeah, and there were tons of lights, smoke, and lazers.

architect: wow, completely different than FDH. This is musically more like converge's you fail me. The vocals, not so much, but in the music. They played a long doomy song at the end. I think this is the song they played last last time I saw them. As the song started and stopped, they all fell down. I was picturing how good their set would have been if thi show was at the aviary instead of here.
network, the: they set up their cabs in a way that, I suspect, you can easily stand up on them and jump from cab to drums.
Their set sounded awesome. It wasn't as insane as some of their sets that I've see lately. I guess their big dude friends will be at the show tomorrow night. Still, nate put his bass into the ceilng a bunch and near decapitated a couple people, pete was up in the cabs/drums, and I nearly got a lap full of kev. They played their usual closing song, but no one sang along. WTF! people will tomorrow.
what is going on here? was someone at the show gay? fuck that! I only shoot pictures of straight sweaty dudes with no shirts on. gays have no fucking place at a show with a bunch of real american red blooded doods.
BR is awesome. no cops at the club this time and the set up with no pool table is so much better.
Death Among Thieves: damn, there was tons and tons of moshing. Weird.. And instrumental band gets more friends beating each other up over the_network. I had to continually block people from flyinging into me, my gear, and the stuff around me. I say instrumental, but they did have the arnold clips. The pictures weren't as good as the ones from the DBH, but it's not good to compare any place to the DBH. This place did have a few things like... Smoke and lights, but it was still no DBH.
Porphyria: it's very weird to go from seeing these guys once a week, to seeing these guys never. it's good to see them finally back from this show they are hitting the ground running and have a ton of shows coming up. anyhow, their set was killer. There were plenty of people who I last saw at timmy's wedding. Watching a room full of kids give the poster formerly know as rusted angel a meedly meedly flying claw was funny, but not as funny as watching timmy punch the ceiling and then bleed or the fact that while he was singing there was a giant tape flap in his face that said "porphyria" (it was attached to the mic chord). I switched up to my kodak SLRn before the "epic solo" so I got some awesome wide shots of all the people collecting around tom. One thing I noticed was that blue looked in much better shape playing with porphyria this time. He must be getting a rock out work out from reverend grundarr & UT. it's like he's back in his RK prime.
