I think they're at a convention, judging by the fact they mention a panel, and that two of the kids in the room are cosplayed (one as Jin from the Samurai Champloo anime, the girl...I dunno). The Forchan board is always talked about, it's supposed to be some nutty geek paradise with a lot of perversion.
