Much as Van Halen's "II" set fire to the charts back in 1979, last Sunday morning, Eva Braun's van, "Halen II", set fire to itself on I-84 in eastern PA as they were returning home after their first tour. Luckily, through quick thinking and some daredevil maneuvering, they were able to completely unload all of their equipment and personal belongings as their van literally burnt to the ground. The Fire dept. abandoned them at a 24 hr convenience store, where after numerous phone calls they secured a trip home for themselves, and more importantly, their equipment. The cause of the fire is not yet known, but they assume that the van either a.) was disappointed that the tour was over, or b.) couldnt handle anymore of their bad jokes. In retaliation, they have already begun to book a tour for May/June.
