Exactly.

RIP Metallica (1981 - 1996).

96? try 89

toggletoggle post by ShadowSD at Mar 15,2006 9:51am
Oh great, now look what I've started...

The whole topic of Metallica's downfall is so depressing I don't even want to have this argument with people anymore. Let's just all agree that they were consistently awesome for years, and have inexplicably been shitty for years, and leave it at that...

even 1996 is pushing it. i'd say more 1991 because the black album was good.

toggletoggle post by AUTOPSY_666   at Mar 15,2006 10:52am
The s/t album sucks, they died in 1989.

toggletoggle post by HailTheLeaf  at Mar 15,2006 11:10am
I thought they sold out in 1984 because of "Fade To Black"...seriously though, the Black Album was a masterpiece.

I doubt Dave would do it, unless it was so he could get in front of a mic to make fun of them.

lars needs to stop breathing.

I doubt Jesus would approve of that.

All the first five albums are masterpieces, and in my opinion, the best five albums ever by anyone. (If anyone wants to argue this with me, save your breath, I've felt this way consistently for over a decade, and you're not going to change my mind; I WISH I could find some more music that I thought reached the same standard, but I haven't had such luck).

Yeah, that's actually what I meant, I was just counting the touring afterwards and the Live Shit box set; I meant that Metallica died in 1996 in a horrible shit-Load accident. (Perhaps 1995 is more appropriate, seeing as they spent some time recording that garbage between cutting their hair like a bunch of fags.)

LOL, Yeah, thats what I was going to say. Even Justice was questionable. I thought it was a sellout when it came out, but then when I heard that black piece of shit I realized THAT was the real sellout.
What a total tool lars is. Any possible ffort to rub it in Dave's face.

Yeah, Dave is all god crazy now.

Dave's still human, so he'd do it.

oh, and Load is decent, for a hard rock album. *dies*

toggletoggle post by pam nli at Mar 17,2006 3:57am
Fuck Lars and Dave, I don't ever want to hear them speak again.

toggletoggle post by wade nli at Mar 17,2006 8:17am
honestly, in my opinion, Metallica lost relevance after Justice.
