New site? Maybe some day.
SFTD blows the first album out of the water. No contest. |
i loved SFTD until my faggoty ass ex guitarist/roomate fucked us over and took off never to see us again with that cd in his car |
Luckily I sell that CD for only $8.00 at shows.
i think i actually got it cheaper at this place called jelly's in woostah |
i think Huamn Animal is the worst cd ever |
still dont have the new one, though I dont go to shows much ,so that explains that....But I do have the 1st one and I love it |
haha...no votes for human...haha!! |
this is a giant no contest. service has some of the downright catchiest riffs ever. |
Take out 104 and The Human Animal Preserved is better.
well at least i think so. |
My reply was to Blue's comment.
And NO WAY Eddie! Desire For The Demented and Ripped From The Womb are crushers!
wow eddie you like that album? well there are some songs i'd like to revamp myself. |
track 3 on service has one of the best death metal slam breakdown parts I have heard |
Hands down, worst band ever! |
the new one is better, definitely. haven't heard the old one in its entirety but i'm judging from the handful of mp3s I've heard.
blue is right, teratism has some of the catchiest DM riffs I've ever heard (but not in a cheesy way)
the new CD, whenever that happens, needs to have a really pro production job to do you guys justice. When listening to 'Service' I love the songs but find myself wishing I could hear everything clearer. |

It will, I promise.

both cd's where only recorded in two days...and service was never even mastered. I thought service came out pretty clear but, most people have said the same that they can't here stuff(solos, vocals). Human is very clear..but the songs are boring and we made so many mistakes and, didnt fix em. |
mastering isn't that much more in the whole span of cost, and it goes a long way to preserve the integrity of the sounds from stereo system to stereo system |
we just didnt do it because the guy who recorded it told us not to. |

I have learned that studio engineers are fucking retards when it comes to mastering. I've heard everything from "I can master it for you!" to "This won't need to be mastered, it's fine as it is!" It's all crap.
In general, unless the engineer recording you KNOW is a great mastering dude, I would take it elsewhere and get it mastered. Even when you trust the guy, it's great to have a second set of ears on it.
Mastering can make a terrible recording sound top notch. It brings everything into the right proportions and compresses it to where it should be the same on any given sound system.
Never trust the recording engineer when it comes to that! |
well...to be honest we where not even gonna really put out service until dwyer said he would...it's main intent at the time was just to have those songs recorded because when we were broken up we wished we had them to listen to...and now we do. |
And I pressed 2000 and got it all over the entire globe. |

it's a good fucking disc. In fact, I am gonna go listen to it and then go to bed right now! |
The video for 'Desire For The Demented' will finally be edited and be done in January.
Yeah, don't you just love how Chris' "3 weeks" turned into 6 months?
i kinda figured it would be that way. whatever, the key word is "free"
....plus still one of the most fun days of my life - the missing persons report |
