magrudergrind: they were a pretty good grind bacnd from DC. They played a ton of tracks, including a track that sounded like a thrash track. I got a copy of their CD for my radio show.

terminally your aborted ghost: wow, their set was pretty awesome. The passed few sets I've seen have been fun, but sloppy. they were pretty tight for this show. I think spaldin and matt need to move around a bit. they sort of take a stance and keep it for the whole set. matt played some harmonics for like 2-seconds during one song, those rocked!

the accursed: great long set. they played tons of tracks that I knew from their demo. Plus, a death cover. Death rocks, they covered the philosopher by Death. At one point they gave me props, the crowd seemed unamused. Time to change my middle name to \m/ to please the crowd. Anyhow, it was weird, at some points I couldn't hear what loki or george was doing (especially when they did pick slides), but then other times I heard everything. I think it was the bass-ends that were muddy in the sound and the high-ends were perfectly clear.

randoms acts of violence: drunkest crowd ever! there was flying cakes and other hostess products. At one point a guy was dragged out by the security. Granted when I was standing next to that guy he kicked me a few times as I had my eye in my camera. RAOV how ever drunk played awesome. the sound was pretty good for them, but I love their CD. I missed the last song (I was out getting a CD from the first band). There CD rocks. If you like old school punk/thrash, pick it up.

Devon reminds me of some sort of chicken with tourette's syndrome.

the input on my 5 string is fucked up... i tried to move during the first song and then the bass cut out... normally i move a bit more but this time iw as worried about how my bass sounded and if it was actually making any sound. but regardless... my 5 string blows away my other bass hands down thefore making TYAG sound fuller. and remember kids... its all in the shoes

matt, I acually understand that with you asyou are the only guitar player.
maybe if someone who I will not name, but begins with a t and ends with and om comes down to play with you guys you can get a second person to cover for each person's mistakes.

I would ahve been more spastic if I wasnt so tired before playing. Thanks again to Random Acts Of Violence for having us. All the bands ripped ass!!! Fun times, good music. What else could you want. Haha people were throwing food at RAOV, I dunno why. Thanks to all the kids who killed each other durning all the bands sets.

I wish every local show was like this. But when I wish in one hand and shit in the other, the hand full of shit always gets fulfilled first. Awesome show though.

i had a good time. it was a great show, great turn out. i had never been in the upstairs of the middle east before. pretty small, but really cool. i got to be on the guest list. more venues should have guest lists. heh. the beer was good, too. \m/ kick ass time.

Thanks to everyone who showed up and made this fucking crazy. All the bands Saturday night were awesome. I was impressed with everyone. From flying sheet cake to the hardcore acrobatics during Terminally's set to the shameless promotion of Al Ravage, this show gets 3 horns up.

don't forget about River man, he was awesome that night.

Thank you all for coming down and kicking ass. It was incredible. We played like a bunch of drunk assholes covered in cake, but you didn't seem to mind.
