FERRET GOES UP IN FLAMES!! (10-12-2005)
Ferret is proud to welcome IN FLAMES into our family. Fresh off the Main Stage of this years Ozzfest, IN FLAMES and Ferret will unleash 'Come Clarity' Feb 7th 2006. Hailing from Sweden, IN FLAMES have long paved the way for the likes of Killswitch Engage, As I Lay Dying and many more. 2006 will see them take to our shores with an onslaught of touring the likes of which the band has never committed to in the US in years past... we'll have news shortly.

HAHAHAHA! This band has gone SO down hill, and now they've gone from one of the best labels for distributing metal (nuclear blast) to Ferret?!?! Isn't that where a bunch of metalcore, and hardcore bands are? What the fuck?

Oh man I've lost all hope for this band.

it's very true, but I never would've figured they would've signed with a metalcore label

I find it hard to believe Nuclear Blast let their favorite money-maker go. Is Ferret just doing some sort of disribution? Insane.

did anyone ever see the video for trigger? I think Jesper had a Ferret T-Shirt on in that...

but, seriously, why do we continue to talk about N*Flames?

toggletoggle post by the departed nli at Oct 12,2005 11:53am
is that the video with soilwork in it?

toggletoggle post by brian_dc  at Oct 12,2005 11:56am
yeah, I'm wondering what the hell Ferret would have for Europe distro in comparison to NB....

must be a non-exclusive deal?

yeah, and soilwork had the video for rejection role that N*Flames was in, it was like a 2 part deal. it was funny with the waterballoons being thrown out of the truck and one another and them calling one another sell-outs (which I found EXTREMELY amusing)

I just don't get why a band doing so well in Europe would bother to market down to Americans

we suck

toggletoggle post by the departed nli at Oct 12,2005 12:04pm
yeah that's the video i was thinking of

i wonder what this new cd is going to sound like
the last one wasn't too impressive
i fear it is only going downhill even more
