Yes, it is Zach. NOBODY really wanted this posted here....It's an incredibly horrible situation. Zach has been one of my best friends ever and I had the pleasure to get to know Nate through him. It's a shame. Nate went to all those Bombsheltah shows and would travel here and there to support Goratory, he is missed dearly. The drummer from Systematic Suicide was in the car as well, I believe he has a broken leg, pelvis and collar bone. Alan went to the arraingment, Zach's face is severly lacerated and his eye is suture. He also has a really bad concussion and has bad short term memory.

This kid inspired me to play bass more than anyone else. I feel fortunate enough to own the bass that was on Rice on Suede. Regardless of that, nothing can bring back Nate, who was one of the best kids I've ever met in the 603. Always smiling, full of energy and happy to be with friends. I hope I can catch up with him again in the sky, grab a beer and laugh at good times had.

In that case, it's safe to say that had she not left him for you, it may not have happened at all. Who knows?? certainly not you. I personally got issues w/ zack, but this is way beyond all that. people gotta understand that legally drunk and "drunk" aren't even in the same ballpark. here's an example. i'm 5'10" and weigh under 150lbs. if i drink 2 beers within an hour, I WILL FAIL A BREATHALYZER TEST! ok, I just got off the phone with my sister.

there was a party down the road that they were at at they were drag racing on that road. the place where the crash happened is on a small turn that she said you barely have to turn your wheel at all for, but by the tracks, they didn't turn at all. the crash woke up everyone in the neighborhood and she said it was "wicked weird" going down there.

they went through 2 yards before the yard they stopped in. they went over a mail box, a bush, and then smashed through a stone wall before the car was cut in half in her friend's front yard.

since the car was cut in half, the kid was ejected. she said with the backseat. she also said that the dead body laid there for 7 hours uncovered in her friends front yard while the police did their work and her friend had to get a permission slip to get to her house. if you map quest it, my sister lives on scobie pond and that was on wentworth. I've only gone down wentworth once when I was lost.

As Josh said NO ONE who knew of this situation and knew the people involved wanted this to be posted, because of the bullshit like this that could happen. Tom, I don't know you very well, but I swear on everything that I have never seen anyone disrespect the people (including myself) who are grieving over a loss such as this. We allow people with poor vision, poor judgement, poor hearing, and millions of other impairments to drive. The point is that EVERYONE should excercise proper judgement of their ability to safely drive.

Having a beer or two will impair ones abilities, but to what extent? I can have 6 beers and be crawling and tripping over myself, while my roommate could be doing handstands. Same goes for a beer or two. I'd rather you drive home with a couple beers in you than have you driving home after working an 18 hour shift on 3 hours of sleep. Both happen every day.

The point is, he was driving poorly. Impaired or not, he made a bad choice that ended in the most tragic circumstances. Now he's facing some very real and harsh consequences. This is a kid that we all know and most cared about. Lets show him some love and respect. I'm sure any retarded satanics against drunk driving propaganda you have to spout is something that's already occured to him over the last week.

I just got back from NH, Zack is doing alright considering. He still has glass in his eye, they can't remove it till the swelling goes down. Everyone is supporting him, (including Nates parents) which is what he needs right now. He's really looking forward to seeing Josh, Al & crew tomorrow. I guess there was a second car involved who's driver is nowhere to be found & left the scene after waking Zack up. He was going to follow Zack out of the neighborhood, cause he didn't know his way out. But after the accident he took off really fast.

The car was mangled because the previous owner altered the chassis & back seat, thats why the back end of the car was nowhere to be found.

sorry to anyone I pissed off because of the negative opinion I have about people driving regardless of how many drinks and how big you are. No one can stop it from happening except for the persons involved. I may have chimed in too early and said things I didn't really mean but a whole lot of "what if's" were going through my head at the time (just like Rev about his sister) which caused me to get really angry at the situation. People trying to justify driving after having only a couple drinks didn't help either.

For Zach's sake, I'd hope that the other car was the cause of this entire accident.
