"Formed in 1977 by strangely named vocalist and lead guitarist Siki Spacek, Ohio's Black Death arguably hold the distinction of being the world's first all-African-American heavy metal band. The group slowly gained a local following, but found it difficult maintaining a stable lineup, so that their first and only album -- also called Black Death and featuring second guitarist Greg Hicks, bassist Darrell Harris, and drummer Phil Bullard -- only emerged in 1984. Black Death vanished from sight only a short time later and has not been heard from since." [allmusic]

There's like 3 bands named BLACK DEATH, but obviously you mean the all black (literally) band.

I have it on vinyl, pretty good NWOBHM stuff. Nothing ground breaking. The pictures of the band are pretty funny.
