can you just make it so people have to log in on this forum, and provide an email address or identity? i'm fucking sick of these anonymous pussy assed posters talking shit. i think that would at least get the out of line shit talking more in to perspective. if people want to run their mouths, at least we will know who they are, and in turn, it will make these spineless fucks think twice before they post!

After that last anonymous post directed at Todd (Bombshelter), I will definitely agree with you! That shit was lower than low.

Y'know, I've always preferred boards that don't make you register, but for once I agree. However, wouldn't people be able to just register with an anonymous hotmail account or something?

Instead, maybe you should create a database of IP adresses, and every time some cock posts anonymously the database will run their IP against those of known members. I'm sure people would stop posting the things they don't have the balls to say anonymously if they knew they still might get held accountable.

when it comes down to it, it really doesn't matter if someone is registered or not, someone can register the name "fuckass" and you still won't know who it is. The only way is the rev to tell us (if he knows) if someone who is registered and known here logged out and posted anonymously.

At least then they have to go to the trouble of registering to start shit. This is getting really ridiculous

This is true.

just ask carina about this one...
her site is a canned php bb and people just write bots and macros that sign up to sites automatically.
I hate when websites have a forum that you have to register to post. Plus, when I'm out of the town, I want to be able to post from some random location and not have to log in.

People will abuse the anonymous posting.. but I think the benefits out weight the one person that abuses it.
