the show was fuckin awesome..
i was supposed to meet up with my dear anne but she got tied up..so i got to the venue early...i think it was sold out and if not...SO CLOSE..the place is awesome..it's like a smaller, newer palladium...so many places to sit and chilll...i did not know anyone and didn't talk to anyone except for the 2 guys behind the merch table and all i did was give them each a sticker and told them i would be shooting the entire show...only a few smokers but of course i smell of smoke..BLEH

anyhow...i sat down on the side waiting...i ended up being the only photographer there...

i liked them a lot..i hadn't heard of them before...a lot of slow bits and reminded me of rainer maria a little when they were a little faster..
2 girls..very pretty and i think i got awesome shots of them...they all looked so shy yet posed for some pics for me

i like these guys but the lighting sucked...they had white lights facing the audience...ugh i was blind! but the music was so varied...bits reminded me of pink floyd, they were spacey...i had heard them before and to see them live was amazing

my reason for going, i didn't even know who else was playing until i got there

these guys never disappoint me..they opened with "next exit" and it's funny because the first time i heard this song..aaron was singing along

it's way too short to be included in the first 3 songs when that's all i have to shoot dammit
anyhow, they wanted to be mysterious...so it was mostly black with an occassional colored light comnig on....i wasn't happy with their lighting...the pics will tell...i was the only photographer in the pit..

and then during interpol i had 2 camera men one on each side, they were filming it for comcast HD tv if you use the ondemand feature..you know they play shows on there for free...it will be aired sometime in 2005

what i neglected to mention was that right before they came on when i was waiting in the pit...i saw a shadow on stage and it was my favorite bouncer james...the only person in new england who has the sports illustrated issue that i am in...anyhow...i hadn't seen him in forever! ..right after i left the pit he was waiting for me and escorted me backstage..we walked across the stage...heh...
and i continued watching on the stage..of course then the lighting was better..sigh..anyhow....
awesome night, stayed till ALMOST the end and the james walked me to my car

damn it's cold outside!!! and it's supposed to flurry in some places tonight
