ya they are a bit quiet, but thats on purpose. we tried to keep the music up front, mostly the drums and guitar..anfd the vox are strong enough to stay a tad low. thx mike!!

hmm where to begin...... snare sounds alot better. little too high on banquet. the kick sound is flat and gets lost in the busier parts. the guitar tone was ok. vox are a little loud on some parts of this song.
the toms in remains of... sound like ass.
the part right after the toms part on the intro the drummer goes into a blast beat thing that is turned down way too low. the guitars sounds a little better on this song. the kick does not get lost as much.
this is after 2 listens each and if i run them through my monitors and crank them tommorow ill probably have more to add. you asked for it. |

yeah, the drummer seemed to think that magic little elves would come in and boost all of his blast beats...but in reality, tweaKIng every single hit to the right volume would have costed us tons of studio time and cash, so we ran with it.

Sounds killer, man. I only listened to a little at work with the volume low. I still need to hear it loud, but I think it sounds sick. We're going to finish up our clusterfuck on Thursday. Will try to post some tracks this weekend. |
