My head feels like sludge, my lungs sound like a 55 year old smoker's, my cloths are filthy and smell of someone's vomit. Some how 3 days were just swallowed up! I can't believe that the whole fest is over and I'm sitting back in my livingroom, 500 miles north. It went off with the precision of an atomic clock. No bands canceled and nothing was more than a few minutes late. Also, the copious set times gave every band about 2 songs longer than my attention span. No bands got cut off and no one was a jerk about set times. Things like this can happen folks, it's called r.e.s.p.e.c.t.
Thank you to Ryan, Evan, and all the MDF staff who pulled this off, all the bouncers who did an almost spotless job with the crowd, all of the people that I met, re-met, and re-re-met, the RTTP regulars who watched my stuff and hung out at dwyer's table and most importantly, my wonderous secretary carina who kept me fed and coffeed.
Check out the pictures, I think they speak for themselves. If you weren't there, check out what you missed and start saving up your quarters for next year. Seeing a billion bands that you won't get to see together outside of the check republic without breaking the bank, priceless**.
