Got up late, drove the coast. Came home and found a hard drive back up wasn't working. Trying to fix it while cooking and drinking.

Nice. I’ve been baking lots of bread lately. I bought assloads of flour

I ordered 10 lbs of bread flour which took about two weeks to come in and I realized that 10 lbs isn't going to go as far as I thought. But I picked up 5 lbs of AP pretty easily, 5 pounds of 00 flour for pizza, and 15 lbs of hand milled whole wheat flour from the local co-op. Baking is a pain in the ass but knowing how to do it properly has been a decent skill to learn. I think a lot of people out there are going to return to the "from scratch" method out of necessity. When everything comes back to "normal", maybe there'll be better food options to-go as a result

Last year, my dad gave me a sour dough starter. I know that is wicked trendy now, but I used the left over starter to make pizza dough that I freeze. It's awesome. If I take a dough out in the am, I can have a fresh pizza. Cooked in my new air fryer in 15 minutes.

I just get crap flour for $1/lb at Aldis.

Also, I bought like 16lbs of wheat gluten from Amazon for $14 per 4lb back. I've been making chickwheat and it's awesome. High protein, I make it at home, and it is a great chicken replacement.

I made some chickwheat last night... Hm... I'm hungry!

I made a calzone in my air fryer last night, out in my audio book and went for a walk before midnight. I'm trying to do 8k steps a day, but was at 7600 at 11:59pm so I'm sure I missed it yesterday.

how does the air fryer do on the pizza by the way? the way i do it is good, but sucks up a ton of electricity.

i preheat my pizza stone at 550 on the lowest rack of my oven for an hour, then i put the pizza on.

thin crust = great! I'm wicked happy with my air fryer. I've been making potatoes tossed with whatever, fries from potatoes, and then this:

shredded and tossed with teriyaki sauce.
