- Continued presence of metal fun bois trying to start the "HEY! HEY! HEY!..." chant during awesome fast riffs and random parts of the song that don't even work.

Check plus:
- Only 3 bands
- Sangus was still good. It just seems like they took their foot off the gas some and write more chunky headbang riffs now. I like fast.
- Graceful stage movements by Proscriptor that would make any dance major weep with jealousy.

He was with the Absu crew (merch dude or someone), it was weird and unnecessary.
All that off-timed chanting was bizarre. Reminded me of the only time I tried to see Agalloch and the whole crowd kept clapping rhythm through the songs. I left after 2.

There was a wretched group in front of me who kept filming themselves and the back of their girlfriends throughout Absu's set with the fucking flash on. Because nothing serves as a great reminder like 15 blurry blown-out seconds of your gf's hair moving to a distorted low-quality Absu song.

Otherwise great gig! Thanks to all who came out!

disregard. was unaware headset man was a drummer/vocalist. know zero about absu.

Seriously!
I hated them on record, but everyone raves about their live shows so I gave it a shot. Huge mistake. The only thing worse was the crowd of clapping bros.
