Great movie, Mickey Rourke rules. Awesome cameo from De Niro as well. The story unravels in a Jacob's Ladder type fashion, even though this film pre-dates it by a few years. Supernatural crime noir is a fair description.

This was also based off of the book "Fallen Angel", which is a good read.
