I just can't believe this thing sold out in like a week.

even crazier were all my old friends that I haven't seen at a show, ANY show, in like 10 years, all over Facebook like "who's going to Honkeyball??" "who has tix, I'll trade Sox/Yanks tix for a Honkeyball ticket!!" "dude, aren't you going to Honkeyball? I'll see you there, right?" "yo, Joe Blow and Dave Douche are driving up from Florida for the Honkeyball show" etc etc

any time I saw either of these bands back in the 90's, it was usually at the Rat and there would be like 30 people there ... 18 years later they can sell out the Middle East Downstairs with hundreds more wanting tickets??

I agree with that statement except I never saw any of them. Seeing tree became a joke to us in highschool cause they never showed.

The first band was smething like space humpin' $19.99 ad I don't realy know what they were going for there.

Sbc was sort of the same way. But back then, I would see them with rollins band and 1000+ others and then a month later see them at the elvis room with 20 people.

Even though I don't really like roadsaw's music, they put on a good live show. I was thinking scissorfight (another band I don't really like) and then they had the guitarist for scissorfight come out and they played 2 scissorfight songs.

Haha, was just coming to this thread to post "ITT: shows to wear your SBC hoodie to".

Yeah I'm kinda pissed that this was sold out way before I even knew it was happening. Would have gone.

Wow.. honkeyball was so good. They were totally on point. I can't believe the crowd either. Everyone is dancing just like they did at these shows in the 90's. I swear there are even a lot of people with their cloths from the 90's (I mean who does that sidewards punching space invaders dance movie while wearing baggy overalls). I wonder if they pulled them out of a box like when my parents pulled out the paisly and tiedye.

Btw: is SMC the singer of honkeyball?

I still have my Tree hoodie and I'm sure I could get some jnco's. I'm fairly pissed this wasn't at a larger venue I could have gotten tickets for. Fuck today.

When I was in high school, I remember being at the escape club when Tree didn't show and this kid from my school serg or sergio stage dove... one of the first times I witness hardcore stage diving. I witness someone who looked exactly like him stage diving exactly like he did... I wonder if it could have been him.
