Hahhahah this thread is amazing. The Goldberg song vs. The Mission:Impossible song. I can't decide.

toggletoggle post by Sinistas   at Jun 24,2011 10:19am
Fuck, this sucks, now I'll have both songs in my head all day. :/

toggletoggle post by pam   at Jun 24,2011 10:35am
The Metallica one is worse...but not by much. What the fuck.

toggletoggle post by brian_dc  at Jun 24,2011 10:38am
I actually think the Metallica one is far less offensive.

Crush Em' is practically a disco song and no one in the fucking world needs to hear Dave Mustaine grunting, ever.

toggletoggle post by brian_dc  at Jun 24,2011 10:39am
also, lyrically I'm pretty sure I got dumber listening to Crush Em'

toggletoggle post by dreadkill  at Jun 24,2011 11:07am
i can't remember what the metallica song sounds like and i'm not about to listen, but crush em is fucking horrible.

THIS THREAD FAILS. Where the fuck is the kids in the hall?

toggletoggle post by ShadowSD  at Jun 24,2011 1:12pm
Isn't this kind of like betting on which Washington General will score the most points this season?

toggletoggle post by ShadowSD  at Jun 24,2011 1:13pm
What's next, Don't Want To Miss A Thing vs. the New Morbid Angel track?

I am forced to agree with this. The Fat Albert stuff puts it over the edge.

Crush 'Em is a terrible song but an excellent running pacer. It's the combination of the disco beat and the sudden urge to hunt and kill Mustaine.

toggletoggle post by ShadowSD  at Jun 24,2011 1:23pm
I think the most important point is that Megadeth only really shit the bed for that one album and then thought better of it, while Metallica (whose first five albums I like better than Megadeth) has been shitting the bed with every album for the last fifteen years. Thankfully, there was no Re-Risk or St. Risky Turdload.

this thread is just a testament to why i shouldn't go on rttp when i get home drunk.

One of these songs was terrible enough to shut down Napster, while the other was awful enough to put WCW out of business. I liked Napster better than New Breed-era WCW

My virgin ears!

toggletoggle post by ShadowSD  at Jun 24,2011 6:38pm
WCW was awful enough to put itself out of business. Crush 'Em just provided an appropriate soundtrack.

toggletoggle post by Kevord  at Jun 24,2011 6:54pm
AOL Time Warner was the only thing awful enough to put WCW out of business.

toggletoggle post by ShadowSD  at Jun 24,2011 7:06pm
Their money was the only thing propping it up - it's just that no amount of money was going to buttress shitty ideas forever.

toggletoggle post by ShadowSD  at Jun 24,2011 7:07pm
By that I mean Time Warner/Turner Broadcasting not necessarily the merger with AOL.

toggletoggle post by thirdknuckle  at Jun 24,2011 7:09pm
That's how I felt when I first heard 'Turbo Lover' the week before it was released.

But GI Bro had LIMITLESS POTENTIAL!

WCW still had good ratings despite the downturn. Things were actually picking up a bit in terms of the on-screen product before TNT cancelled Nitro.

AKA go eff, Jamie Kellner.
