For those of you who care about baseball... this season should be interesting. I really like this Red Sox team. Speed, Power, Pitching. I don't see many weak spots.

Looks like ESPN overwhelmingly predicts the Sox as champs this year too.

Can't. Fucking. Wait.

I'm hoping our pitching holds out though. Daiske is Daiske - Beckett had a shitty year last year which I was willing to let go until he's bombed a good number of times this spring (doesn't mean anything obviously) - Lackey was disappointing to say the least etc etc. I'm hoping I'm wrong as hell, but who knows. Hopefully our bullpen doesn't blow as hard either, haha.

But seriously I'm pumped for the season to start!

on paper, this is the best Red Sox offense I've ever seen...but starting pitching is what I'm worried about, because after Lester and Buchholz, you have no idea what you're gonna get from the other 3 guys at this point

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Mar 31,2011 7:04am
Here we go with Buchholz worship again...

toggletoggle post by RustyPS  at Mar 31,2011 7:35am
dude, right now he is definitely their #2 SP...and you can't count on Beckett or Lackey, or Daisuke for that matter

toggletoggle post by sinistas   at Mar 31,2011 7:57am
They've got some ridiculous RP depth as well.

I may be called "faggot" and the "blasphemer" but I think the yankees 1-9 is more solid. It's not going to be a cakewalk like everyone thinks it is. Toronto has a decent squad this year and Baltimore is up and coming. And don't forget about the fucking Rays. Sure the lost EVERYONE(lol) but that team still scares me for some reason. I'm hoping the sox win 100+ games just like everyone else, but I won't be shocked if they only win 90 either. I still think they'll make the playoffs, and win the ALCS, but I hope someone knocks out Philly before we meet them in the WS. NO ONE is stoppIng that 4-man rotation in the postseason. Hamels is their 4th starter...ours? He's worth $20million and a 10 win season.

Pires, if I rub your back, will you suck my dick?

Because that's the vibe I'm getting off that post. Just curious.

By the way, I'm almost interested in following baseball this season. Maybe it's the lack of an active band talking.

Lineup for tomorrow against the Rangers just came out:

Ellsbury
Pedroia
Crawford
Youk
AGon
Papi
Cameron
Salty
Scutaro

they're facing CJ Wilson, who is a tough lefty, which is why Drew isn't there

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Mar 31,2011 11:13am
CJ Wilson is almost as overrated as Clay Buchholz.

toggletoggle post by MillenialKingdom  at Mar 31,2011 11:33am
I've got Pedroia, Crawford and Papelbon on my fantasy team.

YUSS.

toggletoggle post by xmikex at Mar 31,2011 11:50am
Great offense... suspect pitching.

That's what wins championships right?

Enjoy your bases ball Fenway faithful.

0-6 to start the season.. lulz.

i bet most of the pink-hats are already giving up.

Crawford can't play the wall so far.

Worst collapse in MLB history.

Walking around Fenway tonight, even just from the vibe of the grounds crew and the lingering staff that was there it seemed like they were prepared for just about everything BUT a post season.

toggletoggle post by RustyPS  at Sep 29,2011 6:38am
Gimme the Pats and Bs

I honestly stopped caring about the Sox once the NFL lockout was over

toggletoggle post by FuckIsMySignature at Sep 29,2011 9:48am
ya i'm glad I didnt have much of my time or emotions invested in the season this year. had a bad feeling..even when we were on top of shit.

toggletoggle post by GUYnli at Sep 29,2011 10:56am
an absolutely amazing night of baseball, regardless of the outcome

toggletoggle post by reimroc at Sep 29,2011 11:38am
Good. Maybe all the post-2004 bandwagoning faggots will leave again.

toggletoggle post by FuckIsMySignature at Sep 29,2011 11:40am
ah the good ole days of boston sports misery.

toggletoggle post by MillenialKingdom  at Sep 29,2011 11:48am
They've had an up and down year, I don't really think they deserved the playoffs anyway. Starting pitching this year has been the worst I've seen in some time.

toggletoggle post by reimroc at Sep 29,2011 1:28pm
Also no leadership. At least in September. Where the fuck did the veterans and francona disappear to?

personally hoping that DON'T sign any free agents back for next year...well maybe sign Pap and trade him.
BUNCHA FUCKING HACKS.
I watched dozens of games this year and even went to see them beat the Yanks back in August the last time we were in 1st. This team just didn't have the fire. I mean you have these fuckers in your life for 162 games a year and it ain't exactly ironic that nearly all of them are fairly unlikable, uncaring, uncharismatic overpayed cunts. I liked Tito but happy he's gone.
BRING BACK JIMMY WILLIAMS. I WANT AN ASSHOLE FOR A MANAGER, NOT SOME PSEUDO THERAPIST HAND HOLDING FAITH IN MY PLAYERS PUSSY.

toggletoggle post by frankovhell at Oct 2,2011 1:22pm
Ellsbury is not staying here. We are going to be stuck with that worthless loser Crawford and the underpowered Gonzalez mute to go along with horrid pitching for a long time.

toggletoggle post by bobnomaamrooney at Oct 2,2011 2:43pm
Gonzalez looks like a Woll Smoth shop of my cousin, photo evidence when I'm not posting from phone.

toggletoggle post by Anapa at Oct 3,2011 5:32am
I like that they took out advertising space on the buses that read, "Post Season Starts September 30th." Classy.
