i got this cd today that i wasn't sure if i had or not ( i have a ton of cd and can't remember all of what i have now) got home with it and went check sure enough i did have it grabbed a little lunch and went back tot he store i got it at to return it (unopend with the recept i'd say not even 2 hours went by between the time i got it and went back)
so go to the guy i want to return this cause i already have it and don't need it

he's like well just go get somthing else at the same cost

i was like i was here today theres nuthing else i want can't i just have my $ back

he said NO you can have a store credit but we dodn't do cash returns

i was like but i have the recept and it hasn't been opened IT'S STILL NEW

he said sorry we don't gave cash back

so i said just give me the fucking stupid store credit then

my friends use to buy, slit open and burn and then return them sealing 'em back up.

that's lame...what was his reasoning behind that?

store credit is good though. newbury is like the only cd store i buy cd's at so whatever.

If you get new releases the first week they come out they are usually only $9.99 each!

Once when I was a wee lil child I got pissed off at NBA jam on my game gear and I smashed it the screen blew out so my dad owning a store himself took it put it back in the original package reshrink wrapped it and we returned it to toys R' us and I got a super nintendo -- way better deal.

you are on line. get a debit or credit card and order direct from a label's website. it's usually way cheaper and you're not putting money into the pockets of the trendy fucks that work at places like newbury comics.

I hate all the people at daddy's junky music in portsmouth- those skumbags ripped me off 15 dollars on two occasions,
the second time it happened I was prepared.
I went and traded a cab in for a new one, next thing Im paying and IM suppose to receive 15 dollars or so worth of change- but instead I go grab my car and pull it up to the doors then wheeled the cab up front and threw it in the back, I hop in the drivers seat when I remembered I forgot my change, WITH SALES SLIP IN HAND, I went back and said I forgot my change, the response was how much change was it, I replied this much and handed him the receipt, he said are you sure we didnt give it to you, IM like yeah and all I got was well we will count our cash drawers at the end of the night to see if were over.. who rang up the sale so I said this guy jim and the guys like he just left well call you if we find anything, so I made a big scene and was ask to leave the store. I didnt and they told me they would call the police, I guess I didnt do any justice exept for letting pretty much anyone who could hear me in the sotre that never to buy there and how Ive gotten ripped off twice, I walked out and kicked over the butt waste bucket on front of the doors got in my car and left.

yea, i like newbury comics myself......they usually have a ton of stuff i want, and its realativley cheap.......better than tower, or strawberries, or any of those shitholes

yeah, i'm buddies with alot of the trendy fucks who work at newbury, like my drummer. that trendy fucker and his thin lizzy cds. what a bunch of hipster trendsters those newbury people are.

i go to newburys like 1 a week..but theres always bull mouse . i usually stop there first.

i don't mind newburys too much but the place that KILLS you is best buy
