More albums like Beyond Reasonable Doubt please. All my friends from NYC have been yapping non-stop about this "come back" |
|
Who cares.
This band has turned into such shit since 300% Density.
In their prime, one of the best ever. Let it go dudes.

I guess Ken Schalk is done playing in Fuel... yes that Fuel:
|

kenneth schalk is still one of my favorite drummers. i remember the first time i saw that dude warming up on practice at the espresso bar back in 97 before a candiria set, i knew the dude was gonna be ridiculous. |

Wow, I hope they do another Metalcore album. That would be great.
I love it when bands suck for ten years, then people freak out when they reunify. I'm looking at you, Faith No More and Soundgarden. |
|
i doubt he's done with Fuel, but the LAST album they put out wasnt bad, i just didnt think it was Candiria. Weird techy melodic rock kinda like a mastadon thing...i think the name of it was Kiss the Lie |

It was good for what it was. Somebody could have told me it was a completely different band though and I would have believe them. |

well it did seem like there van accident fucked them up so much they forgot how to write awesome songs...either that, or the crash made them realize they should sell out before they get killed |

Was it Bane Barrit Cave-In & ....Candiria?
Couple of shows around that time.....just ripper. |

Candiria used to be one of my favorite live bands. Show @ Pearl St with Overcast and Groundzero was TITS |

Album of the Year was awful. King for a Day was great, but it was not received well. No one gave a shit about FNM when they broke up. |

Saw them at NEMHCF in 2000, which made me a fan...and that day also made me a fan of Dillinger Escape Plan, Indecision, Dying Fetus, Reach the Sky, and Skarhead...awesome time for an impressionable young lad |

Incredible live. They played Albany as much as local bands did. Pretty sure the CD release for Coma Imprint was at Valentines. Saw them with Dillinger and Isis (1st time hearing Isis... probably Celestial tour). One of the best shows ever.
Can't say enough good things about all the times I saw them, and all the albums up to, and including 300% Density.
Seriously felt let down when that steaming pile of doo "what doesn't kill you" came out. Saw them around that time, and even the old songs sounded bad. One of the worst turns a band that fresh and unique could've taken.

I may be imagining things, but didn't they admit that's what they were doing? As soon as I read that, I had some weird flashback to myself getting disappointed at a magazine article about their crash. |

I saw that same show (isis/candiria/dillinger), I want to say in newhaven |
|
Even better- Neurosis, Isis, Candiria @ Toad's Place. Pretty sure Dillinger couldn't play cuz their singer had to work the night shift at Uncle Anastasisopopeiatopolous' diner back in Jersey |
