while switching the fans does sound silly, the "more efficient" power supply should help the overheating too

Gamestop is stupid. I called them yesterday about doing a trade-in for credit towards the new model and they're only offering $85. I paid $500 for everything that came with my XBox. I bought a game and a 13 month Live card. Kiss my ass with that offer.
