the "no more new york kids" was a comment that I thought more than just me heard, but I guess not. the guy from the elks lodge (the one that told on broken wings to calm the dancing) was talking loudly to someone who put the show on saying things about how there "no more new york kids at these shows" or something like that (he must have been going on the shirt), but I guess someone said they called the cops. I'm not sure if they did or not. there were no cops there when I let after embrace today.

by the way, first time seeing embrace today and they were really good and tight s.e. hardcore.

Just to clear up the confusion.. I was not blaming the others bands for the lack of moshing (that would be ridiculous.) I was just venting about the fact that the older guys who ran the place waited til all of the other bands played (with exception of OBW) to bitch. We were a victim of circumstance. I also pointed out that we were the unfortunate victim of being the only "non metallic" sounding band on the bill. Oh well, I had fun..Kids had fun (witha couple of exceptions)...

that was a pretty fun show all around. only a couple people left complaining, and who cares about them...not me. fun show good times.
