shit i just realized that most of my friends i could go with are under 21. i gotta find another way. |
there is no reason for this to be on page 2. |
blue doesn't want this on page 2 |
heres another reason for you to go see summer dying: they were voted #7 in terrorizer's best unsigned band poll.
now thats hot. |
i want so bad to see this show.... look at the fucking line up..... i just hope i can talk my girl friend into wanting to go...... good job with this one joe |
heres another reason for you to go see summer dying: Random Acts of Violence is on the bill. |
What about Kubrik, you get to see pete play drums and Sarah scream her balls off (i mean if she had balls.... Blue rock the fuck out of the guitar and Kris w/ a K kick his basses ass.... |
All in all it's going to be a great show.
yes you are correct sir. ha ha |
I am really looking forward to seeing Gut again, and getting their new CD. |
joe whats the adress to the choping block |
724 Huntington Ave, Boston MA
thanks..... i preciate it.... huh |
oh hey if i was to take the T into boston that night what stop would i get off... im not too fimilliar with that area |
Brigham Circle on the E train of the green line.
It is diagonally across the street from there. |
no problem, depending on if you have to switch lines on your way home, I would suggest heading out around 11 pm |
why, i mean i know they stop at a certian time is that it |
ill be comming from the riverside t station most likely |
the T stops at 12 I think, but if you need to switch lines and they run less frequently at night, you want to be safe.
Riverside is the D line, right? |
i think is a part of the green line circut, im not sure..... |
they connect together in the city though, so you would have to go back into the city, switch trolleys and go back out again.
There might be a way to walk to the riverside line though from the block, if its nice out |
cool i do some reasurch on line this week, hey joe thanks a lot i appreciate it, and i realy would like to go to this show, summer dying is awesome and im glad to see kubrick playing with them...... |

Rev, i can't believe you put that random picture up!!!

I only posted it cause you said "I know I'm going to see that in the reandomshots"
hehe |
i'll remind you....blah i didn't think it was going up either |
holy shit!! I really do look like I have AIDS!!!
And fat people think THEY have it tough.
At least they don't look like Ryan White! |
teratism: the vocals sounded a lot more brutal this time. There were a bunch of people there that I didn't know who were clapping and cheering too. I think our heads got some new fans!
raising kubrick: of course these guys played awesome. their set gets tighter and tighter each time I see them.
summer dying: I saw them like 2 years ago at milwaukeee. it was good, but they have definitely gotten A LOT better since then. at one point it was melodic (new as i lay dying) and then sort of like a newer it dies today. at some points it also reminded me of shadows fall. the middle of their set had a cover of you gone wild... priceless...
random acts of violence: man, I'm so impressed by these guys. they play so well and their tech's right on with everything. I love watching the lead guitar riffs being shared too. AND they played a man-o-war cover... such a cheat it was awesome. unleashing sounded so good.
gut: good to see these boys back. I thought it was hilarious when people chanted for them to play more songs but they didn't know anymore. |
Another great time at the Block!
Teratism was awesome again, but not quite as awesome as the mic stands. I was in the back this show and I really think they need a bassist now more then ever. Someone try out for this band, if you don't play bass then take lessons and be quick about it.
Raising Kubrick played one of the tightest sets I have seen from them. I think the vocals could have been turned up slightly, but usually it's the other way around with Sarah. They ended one song early, I guess they didn't hear me say 1 more song.
Summer Dying was really tight and energetic, reminded me alot of Shadows Fall/In Flames sort of stuff. I think I saw some people up front who knew the words, people I've never seen before. Hopefully those people realize there is a thriving local scene now and sing along to:
Random Acts of Violence was on next, and if you don't know this band yet then log off this site for good. Super tight as usual, and they helped sober Moran up just by playing. It remains to be seen if that was a good thing or not.
Gut headlined this fiasco with their new drummer, Mike Adams. They only played for around 30 minutes because Mike is so new in fact that he hasn't learned all their songs yet. They have a new cd coming out in about a month or so, but I got it yesterday and am about to listen to it.

I think so. I was there and I remember that guy rocking out. Some black metal band went on after them. The singer of that band kept screaming, "YOU FUCKING COCKS! WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING AAAAATTTTT!

killer fucking show. All the bands kicked ass. It was awesome to finally play a show with summer dying at a good club. I hope to head bang as well as they do someday...They are great and everyone should love them because I said so. Gut was great...I hadn't seen them before so I was happy to see that they are so metal they bleed when they play \m/. Territism rules, their set was wicked as it always is. RAOViolence played a really tight set. Thanks to all the bands, all of you metalheads that came, joe notcommon, the chopping block, carina and arron and the lady who wanted drugs-hahaha because it wouldnt have been as awesome without these super folks.\m/ |

Good job carina, thats fucking nuts.
a hottie and intense!!! |
Indeed. Kudos people! Kubrick, Ascendancy, Gut, Michigan, and Van Helsing! I knew it was an excellent show when I saw the bartender bangin her head. I suppose the magnitude of this bill inspired the Norwegian within us all. |
I have a theory that Mark from Gut's face can not be seen in photographs, film footage, or even in mirrors.
bah...you should have linked some of my better ones
lol |

Don't quit you silly goose. |
