So apparently I swear too much at work and my general managers are starting to get pissed. If I keep going in this direction I'm gonna start getting written up. I do customer service over the phone and when I'm done with the call my frustration level usually causes me to unleash a slew of verbal abuse. I never swear at the customers or support staff but I guess its bleeding into the calls of the people around me. Swearing is my last refuge of stress relief since I dont smoke butts anymore. Maybe I'll just start smoking again.


Fuck...er.. I mean Fudge.

My buddy was telling me he read a study recently stating that swearing actually released chemicals in your brain that help deal with stress and calm you down. Makes sense if you think about it, I definately feel a little better after a good:

Yeah I was reading about that the other day, too. Said people with filthy mouths tend to walk around with far less stress than those that consider swearing inappropriate.
