So, I'm doing this low carb diet thing with
my mom. I've been good so far. It kinda
sucks, tho. I miss pasta already and candy.
I've heard so many things about the low carb
diets, good and bad. Has anyone else tried this
or heard anthing that might be of interest?

low carb can lead to to major weight loss but can also cause alot of long term effects, like when you do decide to eat past again, you will gain the weight back + more... your body needs a ballenced died to properly lose weight.... this low carb craze is a fast way to loose but its not the most efficiant... High Colestorol, heart problems.... remember you are eating more fatty foods, this is not a good thing... granted yoyr body starts burning the fat but it eats the good fat too.... I would not use this diet.... I am personaly in weight watchers and when i started last october i weighed 303, in 3 weeks i lost 22 lbs..... i went off the diet arond the holiday season and only gained 6 lbs back, I restarted the diet last monday and in one week lost the 6 pounds that i gained back.... on this diet you watch portion size, you can anything you want but all you have to do is count the points, its the easiest and safest way to go.... id recomend this to anyone..... remember you might not see results right away but w/ a diet you need to be persistant and dedicated.... good luck its a tough fight

Exercise. No matter what kind of diet you do, without some kind of cardiorespiratory activity you are not going to get the results you want. Walking, taking the stairs, these are all easy ways to incorporate some kind of activity into your daily life. Without your body adjusting it's metabolism to burn unwanted fat, your really not doing too much except just cutting back your intake. Input should equal output. Exercise helps whether you want to do it or not, it's good for your heart and the benefits are limitless.

my best friend has dropped from 340 to 200 since last june. he's trying to get to 180. his trainer told him not to do the low carb diet. it's supposedly pretty unhealthy. he basically cut shitty food like mcdonalds and other fried shit, and high fat food like cheese out of his diet. he drinks 1-2 gallons of water a day and avoids soda. he eats alot of turkey subs. he works out moderately and stays active at his job. he passed his strategy on to his brother's best friend a couple months ago, who has now dropped 50 pounds on his diet. hopefully this will be helpful. it took my friend his whole life to find a strategy that works. all it takes is dedication. he never lost weight before because he never stuck to a plan.

exercise and balance diet.
one issue with the low-carb diet is that high-protein diets (like all that sperm you drank in that one movie) lead to calcium being leeched from your bones.
as a female, you don't need that missy.

yeah, i think i'm calling it quits. i've been
a little sick to my tummy for the past three
days and poop should not be the consistency
of water... right? i don't really need to lose a
lot of weight. i'm basically just doing this for
my mom since she talked me into it and all...
which is a dumb reason for doing it. so yeah,
thanks for all the opinions.
