Drudkh album... really? I think it's their weakest once since Swan Road. A little different but I guess I'll always hold their first two in high regards.

Maudlin of the Well.. absolutely. I love the first 2 songs on the album.

Oh, the new Metalucifer is fucking incredible. I was spinning it last night at 3am. Some people are saying the other edition is better, but the German version is stellar. HEAVY METAL HIGHWAY RIDER!

Mono's "Hymn to the Immortal Wind" ...check it out.

I have high hopes for the new VADER coming in a few days, and the new Immortal out soon...also yet to hear new Marduk and Shining.

Way out of place but I'm digging the new Animal Collective.

Also I picked up the reissue/remaster of Primordial's first album Imrama and it's fucking great but that doesn't count.

Absu S/T is backed, still listening.

Engram slays, I can't believe a traditional black metal bludgeoning like that can still make such an impact. Might be at the top of the list at year's end.
